An antibiotic is Azee DT 100 mg Tablet. What if I have taken an overdose of Azee DT 100 mg Tablet

Drug Warnings

If you experience electrolyte imbalance (low potassium or magnesium level), heart rhythm disturbance (arrhythmia), muscle problems (myasthenia gravis), or liver problems (jaundice), let your doctor know. Rarely, taking Azee DT 100 mg Tablet may result in diarrhea. If you experience bloody or watery diarrhea, stop taking the medication and contact your doctor. However, wait for your doctor’s approval before using any anti-diarrheal medication.

Whether Azee DT 100 mg Tablet is harmful to the unborn child during pregnancy is unknown. Before taking an Azee DT 100 mg tablet, speak with your doctor if you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or are nursing a baby. If you have an allergy to azithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics, avoid taking Azee DT 100 mg Tablet. Tell your doctor whether you take any medications that decrease cholesterol (statins like simvastatin, lovastatin, etc.), treat gout or arthritis (colchicine), or treat an overactive bladder (tolterodine).

Patients with pneumonia who are deemed unsuitable for oral therapy because of moderate to severe sickness or risk factors are not advised to take Azee DT 100 mg Tablet.
